I started doing this back last winter. Moneywise things were really bad and to add on to that my van had broke down and I had no way of getting it fix. I was in a really low place….so I started posted encouraging sayings, bible verses all over the place…..I wanted to see encouraging notes where every I was at the time I needed one. The kitchen seems to be where most of them ended up…guess I spend a lot of time there with four kids that seem to always be hungry. I find myself going to my encouraging notes often. So if you are facing hard times then give this a try.
I have made these for gifts. Add them with a handmade dishcloth, potholder and you have a pretty nice little gift. I make a lot of my side of the families gifts. They understand we don’t have a lot of money and well, I think most of them like my handmade gifts just as well as something I could have spent a lot of money on. I know that I love handmade gifts they hold a story behind them and so much love wrap up in making them.
It is nice to know what days to go to look for deals. Check this site out if you like a good deal. I did get shoes for my 3-year-old for five dollars here while back at Target.
This site belongs to a dear charity friend. She has some great crochet and knitting patterns on her site. I have made these hats before and they are very easy and fast to crochet.
I tried these today. They turned out pretty good but going to have to work on getting them as thin as I would like. Was a little to thick to roll up but think they will be great to make individual pizzas for supper. Taste was pretty good.
I added Glycerin with the aloe vera and the alcohol leaves hands really soft.
I have made this three times. The first time I tried self rising flour leaving the yeast and all out as that is all I had on hand. Needless to say it didn’t turned out at all. The last two times I used all-purpose flour instead of bread flour. It turned out pretty good. Planning next time to try with bread flour to see how it does.
